Dear Committee Members, There has been some good discussion and points raised concerni ng the labelling of proposed biodiesel fuel blends.

 

Hi, 5 bio-diesel or B5 has no environmenta l benefit of significance, not worth the production and distribution cost s, therefore, why bother. Please go for B10 as a minimum. I m a bit late for a submission, but here goes.

 

This would give confidence to manufacturers and consumers alike and so encourage the development of the bi ofuels industry and market, with resultant reductions in pollutant.

 

Thank you for the opportunity to provide the Department of Environment and Heritage with comments c oncerning proposals to standa rdise the specification for Diesel and Biodiesel fuel.
